Past Presidents
1964-84: Mr W Broadbent
Stepped down in 1984, subsequently a Vice-President until he passed away in 1986.
1962-64: Mr Roger J R Tanner
A local businessman, stepped down as President in 1964.
Then appointed as a Vice-President, continuing thus to the present time.
1960-62: Mr John Stather
Former Secretary of Delph MVC and then of SMVC.
Following his Presidency, was a Vice-President until his passing in 1985.
1955-59: Mr Sydney Hinchcliffe
Formerly the Chairman of Delph MVC.
Was subsequently appointed as SMVC’s first President.
